cleanliness was excellent and the place had a lovely Mediterranean-style garden with a swimming pool. andrea and mark - the hosts - were extremely friendly and helpful - giving great local insights. the location was perfect - close to the beach - craft pub, and takeaway shops. loved the convenient second door leading to the pool and patio.

The accommodation was tidy, the room was very spacious. The host upon arrival was great. Loved dining at Ocean Lodge, set within 20 minutes' walk.

Beachside Motel really made me feel like I was in a luxury Mediterranean villa, with all the modern amenities of a motel. Plus, the location was so convenient for exploring the remote adventures of Kahurangi National Park and the stunning alpine landscape of Nelson Lakes National Park.

We had a truly luxurious stay at this beachside hotel. The location was ideal, being close to the beach and within walking distance of the airport. The service was top-notch, with the friendly and accommodating staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was clean and spacious, recently renovated with modern amenities such as air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We especially loved the private deck outside our front door, offering lovely views. The free Wi-Fi and parking were also much appreciated.

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
